In addition to being an ideal playmate for children, they also get along very well with children, animals and dogs. Children should not pull their ears, should not sit on their backs. To reduce the risk of obesity and GDV, the meals should be spread regularly throughout the day and not given too much food.
They have a free-spirited, social, calm, patient and playful character. Basset Hound breed dogs are pretty good-hearted and compatible. They love the family. They can be a bit stubborn and food is always important to them. When you look at their soft-looking face, you can't help yourself hugging them.

They have bright, smooth, short hairs. They can be any color. Brown and black stains on white are quite common. They constantly shed.
