When strangers are noticed, they bark around and watch strangers carefully. Bern Mountain Dogs know each other. It's a big, agile dog. There is a wide, flat skull, dark eyes and nose, triangular ears, scissor teeth, and a marked spot on the face (starting from the mouth and continuing until the forehead), low thick tails, deep chest and rounded feet. Bernese Mountain Dog Feather

This breed of dogs is notable for its three-color appearance. There are dark black bodies, legs, head and ears, dark rusty hips and cheeks, white breasts and mouth (a line extending to the forehead) toes and tail. This continued until the late 1980s when Professor Albert Heim and other breeders discovered the good properties of this animal. Bern Mountain Dog created an awareness in Europe in the early 1900s; In the 1920s they came to America. In 1937, they attracted the attention of American Kennel Club . Since then, the population of Bern Mountain Dog has steadily increased.
