Vizsla Origin

Vizsla is actually read as Vizla, other names are Hungarian Vizsla, Hungarian Pointer or Magyar Vizsla. As its name suggests, is a Hungarian breed and antique. The Magyar tribe was used to hunt mice, but later was used to locate animals and tracing. The first records of the Vizsla race appear in documents prepared by the order of King Luiz. These records are from 1357, the name is Illustrated Vienna. In the 1800s left their place to the English Pointer and faced with danger of extinction. Vizsla is the father of Weimaraner and German Shortcut Pointer. Feathers a bit more grizzled ones are very rare and only a few hundred in North America. This breed is e cold-resistant due to its grizzled feathers. In 1950, the first Vizsla was imported to America. It was first registered by the American Kennel Club in 1960 and nowadays seen as populer shows dogs, hunters and pets.
