They are polite and can easily get along well with all kinds of animals and children . They react strangers by barking. They have long ears, eyes compatible with their hair color and round, small cat feet. Medium size, muscular and thin.
They are easy to train, because it is eager to learn as well as the possibility of being stubborn. A little stiffness will work with Vizsla training.
Those with flat hairs need very little care. It should be enough to wash several times in a year and brush periodically to clean dead hairs. The grizzled ones should be periodically cleaned manually.

There are range of colors from gold rust to dark gold and red. There may be whiteness in the chest and feet. The hair of flat haired ones are short and plentiful. The other has a little more wavy hair. The length of the hair can be 2-3 cm and it is water resistant.

Vizsla is actually read as Vizla, other names are Hungarian Vizsla, Hungarian Pointer or Magyar Vizsla. As its name suggests, is a Hungarian breed and antique.
